Vision

7000 days…the amount of time a parent has to influence their child from crib to college.  We are here to partner with parents to use the most of their 7000 days.  No one controls the amount of days a parent gets.  A parent can only control what they do with each day as it comes, but make no mistake.  Every day counts.

We desire to help parents see the importance of their jobs as Mom or Dad.  There are NO perfect families.  Every family needs a little help.  I wonder what would happen if the church helped parents be better parents.  What if families got healthier?  What if children were trained to find significance in faith, hope and love.  The church can’t do the parent’s job.  We can, however, equip parents so they can do their job well.

The parent is the most influential person in a child’s life.  We know that family time is more important than church time.  We agree with Reggie Joiner when he says that “two combined influences make a greater impact than just two influences.”  We desire to train, equip and inspire our volunteers to be a front line partner with parents.  When a volunteer teaches children on Sundays and then the parent reinforces what was taught at home, the influence on the child just grew exponentially.  After all a parent has 3000 hours per year with the child and the church only has about 40.  Let’s all work together to influence families…parents, church and volunteers.

WE BELIEVE…

- our job is to partner with families

- church should be fun

- diversity makes us healthier

- home is more important than church activities

- church is NEVER babysitting

- kids and students can make a difference now

- in teaching the Bible from crib to college

- special needs kids belong here

- in keeping kids and students safe

- no family is perfect
